These related to his life long interest in the working boats of Britain, a subject that continues to fascinate. The museum shop has several Giclee prints of his work available and their restaurant area had a permanent display of his work on their walls. He also took part in the Tavistock arts week, sharing an exhibition in the town's Bedford Hotel. In January 2008, he held an exhibition of his work in conjunction with Boteler Contemporary Arts, in Salisbury. Later this summer he is exhibiting in the Drawn to the Valley, Open studios event in a headline exhibition called "the Tide table artists" at Weir Quay. Dates to be confirmed. This summer will also see the publication of Ian's second book of paintings and drawings.
